The “Piano Man” is back. After a forced break for more than a year, US musician Billy Joel (72) resumes his monthly appearances in New York.
On Friday, the multi-award-winning singer will appear again in the legendary Madison Square Garden and play regular shows as long as demand continues, as the concert hall announced on Thursday.
Piano Man singer Joel has performed monthly at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan since 2014. In the meantime, including the concerts he had already given there, he has made well over 100 appearances and sold more than two million tickets.
In the Corona crisis, Madison Square Garden, where concerts, basketball and ice hockey are played, was closed.
