Piaggio he finally communicated some more details of his own new ONE electric scooter recently unveiled, a model designed especially for young people, characterized by a design that is very reminiscent of the Piaggio ZIP. The new scooter will be proposed in three different versions. Let’s see the details.

UP TO 100 KM OF AUTONOMY
Piaggio will propose the new electric scooter in variants One, One+ e One Active. The basic model can count on one power of 1.2 kW. The battery has a capacity of 1.8 kWh for a range of up to 55 km. The maximum speed is 45 km / h. Then we have the ONE + variant which always has the same 1.2 kW engine. In this case, however, the top speed rises to 55 km / h. The battery capacity also grows with 2.3 kWh. The maximum distance reaches up to 100 km.
Finally there is the ONE Active model that can count on a 2 kW electric motor of power. The maximum speed reaches 60 km / h, the accumulator can count on a capacity of 2.3 kWh and the autonomy arrives who is 85 km. Speaking of charging, Piaggio generically speaks of a time of 6 hours to recharge your batteries from a domestic outlet. The interesting thing is that the batteries are removable. It is a choice that facilitates charging since once removed they can be taken to the home or office where people can connect them to the electrical outlet.

The new Piaggio ONE electric scooter features 10-inch wheels, 175mm disc brakes and digital instrumentation with a 5.5-inch screen. Full LED headlights, keyless starting system and two engine maps are also part of the standard equipment. Speaking of prices, the scooter, in China, starts at 17,800 RMB equal to about 2,300 euros. The cost to the Italian market has not yet been disclosed. According to what was communicated at the time of the presentation of the new Piaggio ONE, marketing in Europe should start at the end of June.
Major pricing details, therefore, they should not be long in coming. If the price is correct, it could become an interesting model for those looking for an electric scooter for urban mobility.
