DESCRIPTION
Duration: 6 days divided into 3 sessions of 2 days (42 hours)
Places: limited to 20 people Prerequisites: none
Audience: dental surgeon, dental assistant, other health professionals
Educational objectives:
Know how to master the use of essential oils safely in the office and be able to give prescriptions to patients
Know the phytotherapeutic pharmacopoeia and know how to use it in prescription
Know how to make ointments, cream or toothpaste in the office
The theory:
The fundamentals of herbal medicine: concept of the field, dosage forms, prescription, dosages, drainage
The basics of aromatherapy: essential oils, hydrosols, vegetable oils
The properties of essential oils and their mode of operation on different pathologies (pain, scarring, infections, etc.)
Create an aroma library of 15 to 20 essential oils
Practice (individually and in groups):
Oral applications of herbal remedies
Creation of essential oil complexes on different supports
Production of spray, ointment, cream or toothpaste for use in the dental office
