In the video, the moon appears for a few moments, covers the sun and continues its course until it disappears again. Images that many thought were real, perhaps recorded and processed in fast motion. However, experts in physics and astronomy have explained to the portal Damned, why it is impossible for this phenomenon to occur.

The video broadcast through different platforms accumulates more than 22 million views
Alejandro Serrano, doctor in Astrophysics and postdoctoral researcher at NASA’s Ames Research Center, highlights in the aforementioned medium that, as the main reason for doubting the veracity of the video, is the size of the moon seen in the images, with relative to the sun. The scientist assures that the variation in size and distance between the moon and the sun are practically imperceptible to the human eye.
In addition, the video was supposedly recorded somewhere between Canada and Russia, at the North Pole, however, the physicist José Alberto Orejuela has also explained to Damned that “looking at it from anywhere on Earth is practically like looking at it from the same distance.”

It seems that the video of the moon was a montage of the Tik Tok user @aleksey__nz, who defines himself as a “digital creator and computer graphics artist, specialized in 3D visualization and computer animation,” so viral video was part of his work.
If we take a look at the other Tik Tok videos, we can see that the artist has more similar videos all created digitally, in this way, Aleksey uses the platform to publicize his projects as a digital creator.
