Physical Switch versions of XCOM 2, Borderlands and BioShock will require additional downloads – News

Thursday afternoon, Nintendo released a Nintendo Direct Mini, in which we learned about the Switch ports of XCOM 2, Bordelands Legendary Collection and BioShock The Collection.

If these titles are expected in dematerialized version May 29, 2020, Those are the physical versions that interest us today. Indeed, on the sidelines of the announcement, 2K detailed the way in which these versions were thought. And, without much surprise with regard to the promised content, the cartridges will not contain the complete sets. To see more clearly, the editor has communicated content and downloads required for each title:

  • Bioshock: The Collection : The game will be delivered on a 16 GB cartridge including the first act of each game in the collection. For the rest of the adventures and the accompanying DLC, a download, the size of which has not yet been specified, will be necessary.
  • Borderlands: The Legendary Collection: The title will include Borderlands, Borderlands 2 and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel!, as well as all associated DLCs. On the 8 GB cartridge, players will find the first game, accompanied by a 6.6 GB download. For the other two titles, it is a second download, 35 GB which will await players, obviously requiring an SD card, the console having only 32 GB of internal memory.
  • XCOM 2 Collection : The first two missions of the main campaign will be integrated into the cartridge (8 GB), while the rest of the game and the extensions will require a 24 GB download.

The three titles will be sold on Nintendo Switch at a price of € 49.99.
