The pace at which new installations of photovoltaic power plants on the roofs of domestic properties are increasing is still accelerating. In the same way, problems keep up with its speed, which in many cases occur and thus reduce the return on investment that owners of photovoltaic power plants spend. According to experts, however, most problems can be prevented, mainly by professional installation.
The hundreds of new companies that have rushed into the assembly of photovoltaic systems in the past months and years often do not follow everything as it would be necessary for the long-term functioning of photovoltaics. At the same time, according to Columbus Energy, which is one of the suppliers of these systems, it can reach more than 30 years. The reason why this is often not the case is improper installation or lack of regular service.
According to the company, in some cases it is possible for photovoltaics to stop working after only a few years. According to the company’s experience, the main reason is poor connection of the DC (direct current) connectors of the part, insufficient tightening of terminal blocks and screw connections, or insufficient separation of fire sections.
Problems with suppliers who in some cases

According to Vaverka, it is not only dangerous but also illegal. The installation can only be carried out by a person who has the professional qualification of an electrician of photovoltaic systems.
“The certification process for our employees takes at least a month and includes intensive training at our Polygon training center. The progress of the installations is then checked by experienced employees, so that we can be sure that the work is carried out to the highest quality.” points out Vaverka.
In the case of self-help installation, households can get into big trouble in the future, for example with the insurance company. In the event of a house fire from an amateur electrical installation or the photovoltaic power plant itself, it can insurance company to refuse any payment. In this case, self-help installation could be many times more expensive than installation by a quality assembly company.
