With great response, smiles and standing ovations, the audience received both traditional Christmas tunes and pearls of world classics as well as Christmas themed songs by Imantas Kalniņš, Raimonda Paulus, Valtas Pūce, Mārtiņš Braun and other Latvian composers.
The second part of the concert consists of the winter atmosphere melodies of composer Jānis Lūsēns, which have already won the love of listeners for many years, as well as some previews of new songs. The Christmas concerts are performed by Jānis Lūsēns (keyboards), Aivars Gudrais (guitar), Jānis Lūsēns Jr. (bass), Harijs Gūtmanis (percussion) and Zigfrīds Muktupāvels (violin).
The concerts will continue until December 29 in many Latvian concert halls and churches. Some of them have already been sold out, but there are still tickets available for the meeting at the Latgale GORS embassy (22.12), Riga’s new church of St. Gertrude (25.12), cultural center Valmiera (27.12), the Lutheran church of Riga in Torņkaln (28.12) and Tukuma Culture House (29.12). .
