Now the police’s preliminary investigation material also sheds light on the activities of Kankaanpää’s neo-Nazis. The persons shown in the pictures usually have their faces covered with balaclava. They also repeatedly show clear Nazi symbols.

The accused have also taken tattoos that fit the same theme. One of the defendants who got a tattoo told the court in his preliminary answer that his tattoos do not represent any ideology.

During the house search, 39.55 kilograms of dynamite, 1.42 kilograms of explosive fire wire, 4.74 kilograms of gunpowder and several dozens of electric pacifiers and timer pacifiers were found in the home of the accused. The explosives had been stolen. According to the accused, he had no intention of harming anyone.

The suspected crimes were committed between 2018 and 2023 in Kankaanpää. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, six men have been charged in the series. They are aged between 24 and 29.

Three of them are accused of terrorist crimes: intentional explosive crime committed with terrorist intent and training for committing a terrorist crime.

The subpoena application states that the members of the group have adopted a neo-Nazi far-right accelerationist idea in accordance with the Siege ideology. During the police investigation, the defendants have mostly denied having committed the crimes.

The prosecutor demands prison sentences for the men accused of terrorist crimes.
