The Xiaomi 12 Lite has been featured in various rumors quite a few times, and it is only on this basis that it is likely that the device exists and will have to appear someday. However, the existence of the smartphone is now confirmed by the seemingly real images, which have also become a public treasure through a fairly credible Chinese leak.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite so far a 2203129G model number in the preliminary notices, and the smartphone in the pictures shown here bears the exact same number.
The mobile has a completely flat screen and the frame is said to be made of plastic according to the leak. This is a definite difference from the other members of the Xiaomi 12 series, which come with a curved screen and a metal molded side frame.
The display is said to be 6.55 inches, will be manufactured using an OLED panel, and the resolution will be Full HD +. The display supports 120 Hz image refresh, and engineers even have space for a fingerprint reader below. The Xiaomi 12 Lite will also feature a pair of stereo speakers as well as an infrared port.
The back of the device could hold a 108-megapixel primary camera, but previous rumors suggest it will only be 64-megapixel in some markets. Next to the main sensor is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, plus a 5-megapixel macro sensor.
The soul of the Xiaomi 12 Lite will most likely be the Snapdragon 778G + chipset, at least as evidenced by previous benchmark results. Inside the mobile, a 4500 mAh battery is rumored to be responsible for powering, and the battery will support 67-watt fast charging. It is not yet known exactly when the device will be available or when it will debut.
