Photos of ASRock Z690 Taichi Razer Edition appear online – Computer – News

A Razer Edition of ASRock’s Z690 Taichi motherboard has surfaced. This motherboard includes Razer Chroma RGB LEDs, but otherwise seems identical to the regular Z690 Taichi. The two companies previously released two AM4 motherboards together.

The motherboard was noticed by Twitter user momomo_us. The motherboard lacks the gear designs found on ASRock’s regular Taichi motherboards. Instead, the motherboard is equipped with RGB LEDs, which can be controlled individually via the Razer Chroma software. The motherboard will also feature a Razer Edition logo. The Razer motherboard is also largely black, where the regular Z690 contains copper-colored accents.

The Razer release appears to be otherwise identical to de reguliere Z690 Taichi. It can be seen that the Razer Edition again has two Thunderbolt 4 type C ports, an HDMI 2.1 connection, two Ethernet connectors and Wi-Fi 6E support, just like the regular variant. Presumably, the Z690 Taichi Razer Edition will also receive DDR5-6400 support and the same vrm design with 20 phases and Dr.MOS vrms. There are also three M.2 slots on display, two of which presumably offer a PCIe 4.0 interface.

It is unknown when the ASRock Z690 Taichi Razer Edition will be released or what it will cost, though Twitter user _MGKZ notes that the motherboard is available at a European webshop for 750 euros. The regular ASRock Z690 Taichi will be released on November 4, along with Intel’s first Alder Lake processors. The manufacturer has not yet shared a suggested retail price for that motherboard.
