Photos of another party are leaked in the middle of the pandemic MUNDO El Intransigente

The credibility of Prime Minister Boris Johnson is being questioned in recent days, both within her party and in the opposition, after the scandal over the leaked images in which they showed officials of his government joking about a fiesta Christmas in Downing Street and that he would have broken the rules of confinement during the pandemic in United Kingdom.

This Monday, The Guardian newspaper published a photo in which the premier is seen with his wife, and two other people around a table where there are glasses and a bottle of wine, as well as a cheese board, dating back to 15 May 2020. Four other people are also seen gathered at another table, Telam reported.

The criticism was further intensified when the British leader announced, days ago, the introduction of new restrictions against the coronavirus at a time when his Government is accused of not having respected them during the lockdown last year.

This is in addition to the publications of British newspapers, days ago, where they reported on the holding of several parties at Johnson’s residence, which allegedly took place in November and December 2020, while the meetings were prohibited by the quarantine.

One of the events is said to have taken place on December 18, with dozens of people drinking wine and playing board games. Then a video was leaked, filmed on December 22, and broadcast by the ITV network, showing Johnson’s then spokeswoman, the press secretary Allegra Stratton, joking about a banned party at the Prime Minister’s official London residence on Downing Street.

The former president of the Conservatives, Sayeeda Hussain Warsi, considered that all employees who were at the Christmas party should resign, “no buts.” The leader of the opposition Labor Party, Keir StarmerHe said the prime minister should feel “ashamed.” “Millions of people now think that the Prime Minister was playing them for fools and that they were being lied to. They’re right, aren’t they? ”He said.

Meanwhile, the Government announced that it will investigate the alleged meetings at the official residence on November 27, 2020 and December 18, 2020, as well as one at the Department of Education on December 10. The Attorney General for England and Wales, Michael Ellis, said that “any possible crime discovered would be reported to the police.”
