The world day without pants or “no pants day” in English, falls like every year on January 13th. A wacky tradition from the University of Austin in Texas, it invites the most daring (and warmed up) among us to don’t wear pants, as if everything was normal. While since 2013, the obsolete law prohibiting women in the Parisian capital from wearing pants, unless they travel on horseback or by bicycle, has been repealed, the stars seem to have wanted to extend the “no pants day” to other days of the year and to do a trend.
This follows a much-noticed look on the Bottega Veneta Spring/Summer 2023 show; a silhouette consisting of a knit sweater worn nonchalantly over a single opaque black tights revealing the lingerie and not bothering with any other clothes. It was necessary to be called Kendall Jenner to adopt this complete look in the city, with the only accessories the bag Sardine of the Italian house and a bouquet of sunflowers making you forget the fact that she would have gone out forgetting to put on a skirt.

Follower of these stripped silhouettes, the American model had also followed this trend “without pants” at a disguised party, where she appeared in a guipure bodysuit and black transparent tights.
Et Bella Hadid to also elevate underwear to the rank of fashion stars during its various releases. The young woman, a micro-trend launcher, has many times been spotted on the streets of New York wearing what looks like micro-fiber boxers or cotton underpants as pants.
Kylie Jenner had also chosen to follow the trend “without pants” to go to the Loewe fashion show during the spring-summer 2023 fashion week in Paris. Kendall Jenner’s sister had indeed appeared there in white boxers with an elastic band with the Loewe logo, worn over black tights.
