Photos. Beaches closed to groups of more than five people, queues for supermarkets and bars closed at 9 pm – Observer

This Saturday, March 14, was another day of adaptation to a new reality by the Portuguese: groups of more than five people cannot go to the beaches, only a limited number of people are allowed to enter supermarkets, in pharmacies one person enters at a time and before going to the counter you have to disinfect your hands.

PSP also closed all bars in Bairro Alto, leaving only restaurants and convenience stores open. Bar owners were told that: “they have to close now. They are orders and they have to be carried out ”.

The owners of the bars have followed all orders and are aware of all these preventive measures. “I understand and agree. I think that if these measures should have been taken before, the worst will be for the business, but that is a problem for later ”, said one of the owners of one of the bars to the Observer.
