Photographer Trym Ivar Bergsmo has died

A spokesman for the Bergsmo family tells NTB.

Bergsmo was educated at the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California.

He has published several books, been involved in several multimedia and theater projects and had many photo exhibitions.

In terms of photography, he is particularly known for his images from Lofoten and Northern Norway and the documentary project Boazozjahki: A Year with Reindeer Herding Sami.

The exhibition “EXPOSED“, which was presented recently, was one of his last projects. This exhibition brought together images he had worked with over many years, where he showed the vulnerable landscape in Iceland and northern Norway.
