I fully assume that in 1999 this was a sensation – something new and modern, and under the car body hid the reliable technical units of the Volkswagen Group. The historic Fabia was one of the first models to be created in Škoda’s new era after a “marriage” with the VW Group.
It replaced the Felicia, which was still in production, and was visually and technically reminiscent of the post-Soviet era. And now – putting together the Fabia Mk1 and the latest – we can clearly see where (and where) we have come in the last 23 years!
Twenty-two years after its debut, the ŠKODA FABIA has become more visually and substantively mature in its fourth generation! If the small-scale vehicles were once or are quite separate from their older brothers in terms of equipment and capabilities, the new Fabia is no short of them.
When it comes to dimensions, the Fabia has grown significantly in its fourth generation: it is currently the largest car in its segment. Fabia luggage capacity with folding chairs is 380 liters (50 l more than before). It is equipped with LED lights as standard.
The engine palette is dominated by petrol engines with power from 80 to 150 hp – the most powerful of which can be paired with a 7-speed DSG two-clutch gearbox. The starting price of the car is from 14,500 EUR.
