Several generations of viewers grew up on her films Pani kluci or Krakonoš and skiers. Věra Plívová-Šimková, director and screenwriter of more than two dozen family films, died this Sunday at the age of 90. “A child’s heart is still the same and will be the same even in a million years. If you catch the relationship really, a children’s film can never get old,” she said. We remember her life and work.
