The orchestra climbed the stage together with the outstanding French maestro – conductor old master Jean – Claude Casades. They were joined by the State Academic Choir “Latvija” and soloists – soprano Perīna Madefa, mezzo-soprano Laura Grecka, tenor Mihails Čuļpajevs and bass Edgars Ošleja. Under the direction of the conductor, Beethoven’s First and Ninth Symphonies were played, at the end of the concert the participants earned in standing positions,

Early in his career, the 85-year-old maestro Kazadei directed the Paris Chateau Theater and was a conductor at the Paris Opera. He has conducted the Lille National Orchestra, which he founded, for more than 40 years. As a guest conductor, Jean-Claude Kazad has visited concert halls in Moscow, Singapore, Montreal, Baltimore, Seoul, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Philadelphia, Monte Carlo, Berlin, Tokyo, etc.

It has already been reported that the LNSO has celebrated its 95th birthday this autumn, and the first half of the new season is special – it is the last one that the orchestra will spend at its home, the Grand Guild, before the renovation of the house begins.

This was one of the last concerts that could take place with a full auditorium in “green mode” before the emergency took place.

It has already been reported that, in the event of an emergency, the maximum number of visitors to cultural events will henceforth be set at 1 000, divided into 300 sectors each. At the same time, the organizer of the event must set the maximum number of visitors to ensure that no more than 60% of the area of ​​the public space intended for the event is filled.

The new conditions for public cultural events will enter into force after a transitional period – this is set until this year. October 18 and will apply only to events announced before this year. October 8. FFP2 respirators will be required for all visitors during transitional events that do not have fixed seating.
