This year, the band “bet bet” celebrates 30 years on the stage, playing anniversary concerts, recording new songs and publishing a new book of 60 best-known songs. After a long break, a new song and video “More, more, more” was also published. The author of the music and lyrics of the new song is the leader of the group Siegfried Muktupāvels.

The song “Still, Still, Still” was produced in the studio by Zigfrīds Muktupāvels in collaboration with the studio producer Gints Stankevičs, but the video of the song was filmed by Kaspars Rudzītis (Dween Productions). The video was filmed on Jāņkalns stage, Smiltene, as well as in the yard of Riga State German Gymnasium, which is surrounded by the largest hedge in Northern Europe. The song tells about the reunion of two former school-age lovers after many years and a conflict that develops during the meeting. The roles were played by talented young people Million Madara Dzelme a William Plate.

Last week, the bookstores received a book of the band’s 60 best-known songs, which includes the band’s biography, song lyrics, sheet music and chords. Rūdolfs Bērtiņš and Līga Ivāne helped to prepare the book. The cover of the book will be used by a group photo taken by photographer Aiga Rēdmane. The design of the costumes was created by Sinda Krieviņa.

The book is also available at the upcoming group’s anniversary concerts, as well as will be especially honored at the only concert in Riga on August 29 at 20.00 Hanseatic Platform Summer Platform in the open-air concert hall.
The band will also give a concert on August 27 in Vērgale and on August 28 in Valdemārpils.
