On the big stage in the “DVINGA” hall, the winners of the “Welcome to Walpurgis 2022” group “Kuusbārdis”, “Nova Koma”, “Polifauna”, rappers Wiesulis & sangvn, who pleased the audience with familiar and new songs, rapper Galeniex, whose song “Pastarā tiesa” had its first performance, and the rapper Zaldāts, the musical association “REGĪNA”, surrounded by legends of former students of LKA, had its stage debut, which dragged the listeners and spectators into an endless whirlwind of a party.
On the small stage of “RAMANA”, the band “Embark”, the punk-hit-butter-rock trio “Jūdas Graši”, the group “Kapelmeistars GROUP”, as well as the guitarist Reinis Jaunais delighted the audience of “RAMANA”.
The festival was opened on the garden stage “KLANGAS” with the performances of the drummers and “Saucējus”, later Emīlija and the group “Purple Negative” took the stage, while the visitors of the “SLAZDĀ” festival enjoyed the performance of Bēniņu Fotogēniju and the music of DJ DJ33.
This year in Walpurgis, mid-summer fullness was celebrated. “Walpurgi” is a popular event organized by LKA Student Self-Government “Cits Skatu Punkts”, which combines music, magic and togetherness. “Walpurģi” invited the visitors to wait together for the onset of darkness and the first rays of dawn, allowing themselves to the magical rhythms of music, participating in various activities and enjoying good music on the stages illuminated by the sunset.
