Concert garden “Blow, winds!” rebirth. On the evening of May 27, the celebrations of about 800 Liepaja residents and guests of the city continued at the popular club “Kursa” (former “Bolshevik”).

During the evening, Uldis Marhilevičs, Zigfrīds Muktupāvels, Ainars Virga, “The Hobos” & Ralfs Eilands, “Carnival Youth”, as well as vinyl record masters – DJ Roberts Gobziņš and DJ Eduards Švāns took the stage. A special surprise for the visitors was the arrival of Renārs Kaupers and Jānis Jubalts, members of the group “Brainstorm”, performing the most famous compositions of the association.

Club “Kursa” is located in a unique place – in Liepaja, by the sea and in 1968 the house was opened under the auspices of the largest and most powerful fishing farm in Latvia – the collective farm “Bolsheviks”. The building, created by the architect Juris Monvids Skalbergs (1935), is one of the most striking examples of Soviet modernist architecture in Latvia, which has preserved its authentic, unique layout and spirit of the time. After many years of silence, several events are planned at the cultural site this year.
