A photo has appeared of what would be the successor of the Samsung Galaxy Fold. The name Galaxy Z Fold2 is on the boot screen of the device. A vague render of the device appeared earlier.
The device in the photo that a twitterer shared, does not have a big notch in the screen like the first Fold. Instead, a hole in the screen can be seen as many other Samsung smartphones from last year have. The camera hole is centered on the right portion of the expanded screen.

The photo appears to have been taken in South Korea. A phone that is also visible in the picture has the provider SKT, an abbreviation for the South Korean mobile provider SK Telecom. Last week, a render of the Galaxy Z Fold2.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 2 on August 5 at its Unpacked event. There, the introduction of the Note 20 Ultra and the new Galaxy Buds is also expected. With recent tweets hint Samsung also on a new foldable device.
