The royal family wanted to boost the tourism sector in Belgium with the trip. During the ride, we also stopped to admire nature.
In addition to the bicycle tour, the open-air museum of Bokrijk was also visited, where they stopped for the Bruegel exhibition. The king, queen and their four teenagers also made a short stop at camping Holsteenbron, where they had a chat with the manager and some guests.
