Today, the home group “Other Boys” has gone to Turin, Italy, where they will represent Latvia at the 66th Eurovision Song Contest.
The band “Citi zēni” with the song “Eat Your Salad” became the winners of the LTV song competition “Supernova 2022” live on February 12, gaining the opportunity to represent Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin.
Albania, Switzerland, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Denmark, Armenia, Austria, Croatia, Iceland and Greece will also take part in the competition. The second semi-final of Eurovision will take place on May 12, and the final – on May 14.
The group “Other Boys” consists of vocalist Jānis Pētersons, vocalist and saxophonist Dagnis Roziņš, keyboardist Reinis Višķeris, guitarist Krišjānis Ozols, bassist Roberts Memmēns and drummer Toms Kagainis.
