The introductory photographs, as well as the shot in the image below this paragraph, are intended to capture the GeForce RTX 4090 heatsink. The block adjacent to the GPU is more massive and the passive part contains more slats.

It is currently assumed that the card with the GA102 core, 16,128 active stream processors and 24 GB 21GHz GDDR6X will bear the designation GeForce RTX 4090 and will reach 450W TDP.
The following pictures show the radiator frame – not for the GeForce RTX 4090, but for the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti. There is no scale in the images and it is not clear how much the perspective has been amplified or suppressed when the camera lens has an effective focus, so don’t take it as 100%, but from the images it seems that this frame could be designed for a heatsink higher than 3 , 5-4 slots?).

This would correspond to rumors that the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti will be a 600W card (which therefore needs a heavier heatsink than the 450W model), but as mentioned, the estimate is better taken with a grain of salt. Moreover, in the current situation, it does not make sense to engage in any more extensive speculation. If it is true that the GeForce RTX 4000 series will go on the market in the first half of the summer (and not the second, as expected in the long run), then we will find out in the latest in TDP and the dimensions of the cards (coolers).
