Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Leaked photos of allegedly Toyota get moving Veloz has spread in cyberspace on Saturday (16/10). Now the public can fully see the exterior and even the cabin, the appearance of this material also strengthens the indication that the launch schedule is getting closer.
Around nine photos circulated on social media, showing Veloz in black with different designs from front to back. Interestingly, there is no ‘Avanza’ logo on this car.
Most likely this Veloz is a car produced by Toyota at the Karawang factory, West Java. Previously it was understood that the Avanza and its twin Daihatsu Xenia were produced at the domestic Daihatsu factory.
CNNIndonesia.com has confirmed regarding the circulation of this photo, but until this news was written PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) had not responded.
Changes in Veloz are clearly visible in almost all displays. The look has a Raize-like design feel and is much different from the Veloz that is currently still being sold, even though the shape of the headlights is still reminiscent of the old Veloz.
At the top of the windshield, Veloz has a black section that is thought to be the location of the camera and sensor to support the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) feature package.
To the side, it seems that Toyota wants to give a solid impression using a straight line that runs from the side of the hood to the rear. The gas tank cap is given a round shape, this is different from the Avanza in general.
The back looks like Veloz has a new brake light design that attaches to the reflector light on the rear door so it looks like it’s connected. There is a capital letter ‘VELOZ’ logo above the number plate position, then there is a ‘Q’ logo which indicates the variant.
Before these photos appeared, the Avanza and Veloz were rumored to be turning into front-wheel drive and using CVT. The specifications are still difficult to prove using materials like this.
So far there has been no official statement from Toyota Astra Motor or ADM about the latest Avanza Veloz. However, the dealer has stated that it has opened early orders and said that the launch will be carried out in November or December.
