“This is a program very close to me. Thinking about this concert, I remembered when Rēzija Kalniņš and I were still working in Novosibirsk and after a long time returned to Latvia in the spring, we felt the smell of freshly cut grass. It is a feeling that comes to mind when creating a holiday It was extremely important for me to gather together the feeling I have of Latvia, “reveals the concert ‘s artistic director and conductor, Berlin Comic Opera musical director Ainars Rubikis, who last week received the Russian Theater Award” Golden Mask “in the category Best Opera Conductor.
