The concert featured musicians with whom Paul had developed musical friendships over the years. In addition to the maestro, soprano Dināra Rudāne and singer Daumants Kalniņš performed at the piano, as well as the vocal group “Framest”, with whom the maestro has performed many concert programs and premiered new compositions. The singers were accompanied by the Latvian Radio Big Band, whose patron is the maestro himself.
The concert featured a jazz composition “Game Night at Dunte Pub”, Paul’s instrumental music compositions – “Impressions” and “Mountain Sketches” – and songs with the words of Imants Ziedonis, such as “Cher ami” and “Sit me Prusta”, songs “Lapsenes nāve” , “Give a Star”, “My Child”, the ballad “Don’t Bring Stars in a Room” and other compositions by Paul from different creative periods. Its big band has been arranged by Latvian jazz musician Gunārs Rozenbergs and Kārlis Vanags.
