Starting February 18, it will be available at music outlets around the world (80 countries in total), including major music streaming sites. Composer Kārlis Lācis, conductor Atvars Lakstīgala and conductor of Liepāja Symphony Orchestra Uldis Lipskis took part in the presentation of the disc.
As previously reported, the new music CD captures two opuses by Kārlis Lāčs – Concerto for Piano and Orchestra and Latvian Symphony. Along with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, soloists – pianist Agnese Egliņa and accordionist Artūrs Noviks have also taken part in the recording, which was made this year in the concert hall “Lielais dzintars”.
