Songwriter, producer and bassist Ingars Viļums has changed almost beyond recognition. He has shrunk significantly. This week, Viļums explained to the publication “Privatā Dzīve” why he has lost so much weight recently.
Recently, the musician of the group “Prāta Vētra” Ingars Viļums together with his new musical group “Three men in a boat” visited the Latvian TV show “Latvijas sirdsdziesma”. Many viewers didn’t even recognize Ingar at the first moment, because the musician has changed a lot visually: he has become much slimmer.
When asked about the reason for these transformations, Ingars revealed that neither diet nor some new sporting passion is to blame. There’s a more serious reason why so much has changed in recent months.
“It wasn’t a very happy factor and there are things in life that you can’t predict. Weight loss is associated with the postoperative period, when there is really no appetite and zest for life, so my transformation story is not very inspiring.
However, he reassures that everything is rapidly improving.
