As you know, April 2 is World Autism Day since 2007. Joining the campaign, our club pays attention to the fact that 1% of people live with autism at several events these days – this was also the case in the match against KTE.
Those accompanying the teams were young people affected by autism, and the kick-off of the second half was performed by Milán Gál, who also lives with autism.
We drew attention to the campaign in our communication elements surrounding the match – that’s why the light blue heart appears on the match poster, the invitation, as well as in the appearance of the usual SEYU game, but the symbol was also present on the clothing of our head coach, Dávid Horváth.
Many of our supporters also joined the campaign by saying Shine blue! living up to the slogan, he arrived at the stadium in a blue dress.
The series of programs has not yet ended, as on Tuesday (April 2) we will also hold an academy tour organized on the occasion of World Autism Day from 2:00 p.m. for several families affected by autism – the tour guides will be our academics. At the home match against DVTK on April 14th, those accompanying the teams will again be young people affected by autism.
Incidentally, we consider the campaign important not only on the occasion of World Day, which is why families affected by autism have been attending our domestic championship matches organized by the AOSZ for years.
