Last Monday, September 9, an event was held at the Consentino City of London organized by the Chamber of Commerce and the Provincial Council of Almería as a prelude to the celebration of the international Speciality & Fine Food Exhibition at the Olympia National Hall in the British capital on 10 and 11 September.
It is worth highlighting the presence of various institutional representatives and well-known importing and distributing companies of Spanish products based in London who were present.
Representatives from the catering sector, as well as well-known British food writers and influencers, also attended the event.
Attendees were able to taste first-hand the exquisite preparations made by the Chefs Alejandro Ruiz, Rafa Rodriguez, Noelia Carrion and ham cutter Rafael Lopezwashed down with the very good wine that was served in the room.
Already inside the International ExhibitionOn Tuesday and Wednesday, everything was a hive of activity for distributors and relevant people from the international restaurant sector, visiting the stands that presented multiple new products, a gastronomic recital that Almería was able to take advantage of.
The stands reserved for Almería have been very well located within the venue and have been very visited during these two days.
The participating companies from Almería have been varied, with interesting and very good quality products. Now we just have to wait for the effort they have made these days and the conversations with distributors to soon bear fruit and for more and more Almería products to be seen in London restaurants every day.
