The total investment in the development of the cemented particle board production complex reaches five million euros.
The complex is planned to produce more than 35 thousand cubic meters of products per year. About 90% of the products are planned to be exported, the main sales markets are European countries, Asia, as well as the USA.
“All production processes are maximally automated, people provide control and management,” explains Ingew Ūdris, a member of the board of Cewood, adding that the company is the only manufacturer of such material in the Baltic States.
“Cewood” performs a full production cycle – from material preparation to post-processing with painting, profiling, etc.
The establishment of the plant started in 2014. Its area is 7.5 thousand square meters, but the industrial area is three hectares.
The European Regional Development Fund, as well as Swedbank were involved in the implementation of the project.
