On the evening of August 19, the sixth concert of the concert series “Liepaja Lake Music” was held in Lake Liepāja together with Aminata and the “Liepaja Music Orchestra” under the direction of trumpet player and arranger Jānis Ivuškāns.

This was one of the singer’s rare and biggest concerts this summer for the general public due to the impact of the pandemic on cultural developments in general.
The concert program featured Aminata’s author’s songs, which were given an unheard sound by the musicians of the “Liepaja Music Orchestra” and arrangements of compositions by Ivushan, the organizers of the event inform the portal “Delfi”.
Musicians from Liepaja, Riga and Ventspils joined the orchestra on the floating stage in the lake: Jānis Ivuškāns (trumpet), Ritvars Garoza (keyboards), Kristens Kupčs (guitar), Mārtiņš Zālīte (electronics), Pauls Ķierpe (percussion) Novicāns, Edgars Kalniņš, Aivars Vadonis, Mārcis Auziņš, as well as Kārlis Catlaks (bass clarinet) and Robins Jānis Lellis (trombone).
