“I am happy to exhibit my works here. It’s my first time in “Great Amber”. The premises are large, so there is room for large pictures, some works reach three meters, some even more. I love color and here, you could say, there are such small and large bursts of color and visible colors that connect me to Italy, France, America, and Asia, but here (Latvia) I also find bright, wonderful colors. I paint all the works on the spot – not from photographs and in principle I don’t sketch either – I start with color and capture the moment,” Aleksejs Naumov said about his works and the creative process at the opening of the exhibition.
At the opening of the exhibition, those present had the opportunity not only to see 33 works of Aleksej Naumov, but also to hear stories about several amusing situations that the artist encountered while painting his works.
