PROFI is the modern retail network with the largest geographical expansion in Romania and with a growth rate still unmatched in this country. In May 2019, it became our first network with more than 1000 stores, located in almost 500 localities in all counties and Bucharest. Since December 2016, the network has been owned by Mid Europa Partners, one of the leading investment funds in the growing markets of Central and South Eastern Europe. Mid Europa took over PROFI from the Enterprise Investors investment fund through the largest transaction in Romanian retail to date, for a record amount of 533 million euros.
A new store belonging to this successful network opened today in Zănești, Neamț County.
