Mozart’s overture to the opera “Lucio Silla” and “Sinfonia Concertante” for 4 wind instruments was performed by the orchestra together with soloists – oboist Mārtiņš Zālīte, clarinetist Kārlis Clats, bassoonist Artis Zēna and forest hunter Inga Novicāns. These musicians are not only concertmasters of the Liepaja Symphony Orchestra in their instrument groups, but are also known for their active concert activities in the wind instrument ensemble “Kurland Quintet”.

In the second part of the concert, music lovers had the opportunity to hear the rarely played pearl of the symphonic repertoire – the Symphony in Reminora, played by the prominent Belgian romantic composer of Belgian origin Cesar Frank.
