Philips Settles with SEC for $62 Million Over Alleged Violations of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in China Medical Equipment Sales

Dutch medical device maker Philips will pay more than $62 million to land charges that it violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act over its conduct related to the sales of medical equipment to China, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said on Thursday.
