Signify, the former light source arm of Philips, has announced a new product in the Philips Hue family. The Hue Play gradient light strip is an enhanced version of the existing LED strips. Because the strips can dynamically change color have an Ambilight-like experience for any TV are possible.
Hue hub badly needed
The new light strips unfortunately can not by itself show such an extensive color palette. For synchronization with the images on TV are the Hue Play Box Sync HDMI and the Hue Bridge required.
