Our guest of the week is everything except Parisian… He is not even French to tell the truth, he is Belgian. His character from Chat made him one of the must-haves in comics and humor. Regular columnist alongside Laurent Ruquier in its various programs, it is Philippe Geluck who tells us about his Paris this week.
Paris = work!
As is often the case with our non-Parisian guests, coming to the French capital is for work. After passing through the North Station on his way to the holidays with his parents and a short stay with a friend. He published his first boards in the magazine “To be continued“by Castermann alongside big names like Hugo Pratt.”And where it started to swarm a little with lots of promises, is when Laurent Ruquier asked me to participate in shows on France Inter. It was first called “Le petit dej”, then “In all directions”. For various research, Philippe Geluck is interested inhistory of paris. A story that piqued his curiosity: “How not to be when you were a reader of Alexandre Dumas, when you were a kid? I have the impression of having read the Paris tourist guide in novels which fascinated me. When we have read “Les Trois Mousquetaires” and we locate everything in Paris. And then, one day, we walk around where d’Artagnan himself has passed. It’s terribly impressive.”
