Philippe Clement on racism: “I am very clear: this is not possible” | Jupiler Pro League

Philippe Clement is one of the nominees for the Raymond Goethals Trophy that will be awarded today.

The Bruges T1 was of course addressed at the ceremony about the incidents in Jan Breydel.

“I have been very clear about it and I will reaffirm: I am of course completely against racism. This is not possible,” he told our reporter when he arrived.

“We have a diverse group of players and we work with people from different countries and continents.”

“We try to make it a whole, something that is important in sport and in society.”

How then should this problem be resolved? “That is up to the policymakers. I have a lot of work with sports and I have to focus on that.”
