“We gained a place in the championship compared to the previous year. What is positive, too, is that we played in the semi-final of the Coupe de France, and that’s not nothing. Sometimes I feel like we’re a little too modest. We must not trivialize our performances, in a championship which is one of the two best in the world. A lot of people don’t realize that. It’s only the third year that we’ve been in the Starligue, and we’ve managed to build a coherent group that holds up. A real group. Even if on certain matches, I recognize it, it was not seen. And in terms of level of play, it has nothing to do with what we offered two years ago. We continue to progress, we are on the right track to do even better. »

Regrets: “7 to 10 more points, it was doable”

“We could have done better, even if it wouldn’t have allowed us to gain a lot of places in the standings. But taking seven to ten more points was doable. Mentally, the Coupe de France gave us energy. With all our individualities, I think we had a team stronger than our budget. Our ranking is in line with our budget (11th in Starligue), but the results are below our potential.
