Philipp Herold (38) has been responsible for overall marketing management at the private brewery Erdinger Weißbräu Werner Brombach GmbH since September 1, 2024. He succeeds Wolfgang Kuffner, who has been working as Managing Director Marketing and Sales at the private brewery from 1 July 2024.
Philipp Herold started his career at ERDINGER Weißbräu in October 2012 as Head of Trade Fairs & Events. Four years later, the sports economist graduate (University of Bayreuth) also took over the sponsorship management of the private brewery.
Philipp Herold is looking forward to his new role as overall marketing manager at the private brewery ERDINGER Weißbräu.
Wolfgang Kuffner emphasizes: “Philipp Herold was instrumental in successfully positioning the world of the ERDINGER brand over the last ten years, for ERDINGER alcohol-free, among other things, in the development of the ERDINGER Active Team into one of the endurance sports communities with the largest number of members in Germany, and in the signing of the two-time Ironman Hawaii winner Patrick Lange and the establishment of the ERDINGER Active Tour, in which approx. 650,000 finishers of more than 120 sports events are refreshed by ERDINGER without alcohol every year. Philipp also played a key role in shaping the ERDINGER Meister Cup, one of Germany’s largest minor league football championship series, and the strong presence of the ERDINGER Brauhaus brand. We are therefore very pleased to have found the ideal person for overall marketing management within our own ranks.”
