Medium sources NBC Sports report that the Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons have negotiated a possible trade between Ben Simmons and Jerami Grant.
Daryl Morey’s dream would be to reunite with James Harden, now in the Brooklyn Nets; however, Grant’s option sounds much more realistic, as the Australian’s commercial value continues to devalue as the days go by without returning to the pitch.
Although both parties have tried to understand each other through their agent, the truth is that Simmons’ position is very clear and he does not want to return to his current team given the disagreements with his coach Doc Rivers and main star Joel Embiid.
Simmons has this and three additional seasons left for a total of approximately $ 146 million. Last year he averaged 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.6 steals in 32.4 minutes per game.
For his part, Jerami Grant, who already wore the colors of the Sixers between 2014 and 2016, is receiving a salary of 20 million dollars, and ahead of him has another additional course valued at 20.95 million.
