Presenting itself as a social magazine that contributes to public debate, the Philadelphia magazine has just been launched. Its objective: to make the reflection of Catholics on the political question accessible.
The media world welcomes a new member: Philadelphia. Annual review produced in collaboration between the First Part editions and the Philadelphia think-tank, supported by the bishop of the diocese of Nanterre Mgr Rougé, the magazine Philadelphia has chosen as an editorial line to present the reflection of Catholics on the political question.
A first issue dedicated to the French currency
Distributed in newsstands and bookstores at a price of 10 euros, this new magazine “has chosen an accessible form and multiplies the entry points with articles of great diversity in form (exclusive interviews, portraits, reports). , literary fiction articles, computer graphics…) ”, say those who are at the origin of it. In this first issue devoted to the French motto, “Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité”, the editorial staff in Philadelphia sought out personalities from various backgrounds such as the president of Secours Catholique Véronique Fayet, the Minister for Citizenship Marlène Schiappa, the theologian Adrien Candiard or the footballer Blaise Matudi.
Presenting itself willingly as “a social magazine that contributes to public debate”, Philadelphia does not hesitate to confront the thought of the Church with contemporary issues and urges readers to question themselves on various themes such as support, majority at 16, separatism or what the memorial means. This reading is all the more essential in the run-up to the next presidential elections.
