December 1 edition of Windows Central published an interview with Xbox CEO Phil Spencer, who cleared the air. The executive said the company has no plans to launch Game Pass on PlayStation and Nintendo consoles. Instead, Microsoft will continue to “innovate” for people who choose Xbox.
In the interview, Spencer also said that Microsoft has clear plans to develop services, hardware, and perhaps even achievements on the Xbox. However, the leader did not share any road maps and did not make any hints about possible new products.
During the conversation, Spencer admitted that Xbox has a lot of interesting IP. According to the head, it is important for Microsoft’s gaming division to select the right and truly passionate development teams who will work on the revival of these worlds.
