The Game Awards 2020 recognized the most outstanding studios and games in an event full of announcements and engaging revelations. The big winner of the night was undoubtedly The Last of Us: Part II, a title that won Game of the Year and other awards.
Various studios and industry creatives took advantage of the award to recognize the work of Naughty Dog, the study that won the highest number of awards. Xbox was no exception, as Phil Spencer, head of the brand, dedicated a short message to the Sony and PlayStation studio.
On the other hand, Spencer also recognized the work of Dontnod Entertainment, a study that was awarded by Tell Me Why, game distributed by Xbox Game Studios.

Spencer recognized the success of The Last of Us: Part II en The Game Awards 2020
As we told you, The Last of Us: Part II Not only did it win the Game of the Year statuette at The Game Awards 2020, it was also awarded in the categories of Best Direction, Best Audio Design, Best Action / Adventure Game, Innovation in Accessibility, Best Performance and Best Narrative.
This earned him the recognition of Spencer, who commented on Twitter the publication where it was announced that The Last of Us: Part II he was the biggest winner. The Xbox executive congratulated Neil Druckmann, in charge of the sequel and now co-chairman of Naughty Dog.
“Congratulations to Neil Druckmann and the Naughty Dog team, a great game from a great studio,” was the short message Spencer shared on social media. Soon after, Druckmann replied to Spencer and simply thanked him for his congratulations.
A portion of the community celebrated Spencer’s gesture with Naughty Dog and also took the opportunity to congratulate Druckmann on his recent accomplishments.
On the other hand, Spencer sent a congratulation to the entire Dontnod Entertainment team, as Tell Me Why It was also awarded at The Game Awards 2020. The title for Xbox consoles and PC won in the Impact Games category, where it competed against prominent independent titles.
