Phil Spencer already has a Steam Deck and is delighted with Valve’s device.
The Xbox leader revealed that he has already received his Steam Deck this week and has spent some time playing Xbox games away from home and is very excited about the potential of Valve’s handheld to play games from their studios.
“I was at Valve this week, talking to Scott, Erik and Gabe about the Steam Deck. After having mine for most of the week, I can say it’s a pretty good device,” said Spencer.
After revealing that he already has a Steam Deck, Spencer commented that technologies like xCloud work very well on the device and even commented that he loves the laptop’s controls.
“The games go with me everywhere, the screen size, the controls are amazing. Playing Halo and Age is really good, xCloud works really well. Congratulations to the Steam Deck team.”
Spencer’s accolades are sure to make even more people look to the Steam Deck, and as Xbox’s leader, with more than 873,000 Twitter followers, it could help introduce the handheld to the more distracted who haven’t heard of it.
