In a heartfelt farewell, the community of Newcastle West came together to mourn the passing of a beloved resident, who passed away peacefully at Daar View, Newcastle West, Co Limerick, on October 26, 2024. Phil, as she was affectionately known, was pre-deceased by her parents, Thomas and Rose, and her beloved sisters Norah, Maureen, and Hannah. Her family and friends are deeply saddened by her passing, as she was a cherished wife to John and a devoted mother to her son Connor. She is also survived by her sister Rose, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbors, and friends who will greatly miss her warm presence.

A Celebrated Farewell

In honoring her life, Phil will be reposing at Riedy’s funeral home on Monday, October 28, from 6 PM to 8 PM. A requiem mass will be held at The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West, on Tuesday, October 29, at 11:30 AM, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, the mass will be live-streamed, with a link to follow shortly.
