In 2009, he had “dislocated certain vertebrae in the upper neck”which had affected his hands and still prevents him from playing piano or drums. During his American tour, it was his son who played in his place. A few years later, type 2 diabetes gave him an abscess on his foot, which is why he moves with a cane. For this musician who has become an icon both thanks to his solo career and his place in Genesis, it is therefore time to hang up to stop “smell the roses. Children as famous as their father
