– Phelan finished as a coach
Mike Phelan will not be part of United’s coaching staff next season. It writes The Athletic.
The 59-year-old former United player and long-time coach signed a new contract with United in 2021, which means that the parties must agree on a dismissal agreement. Alternatively, Phelan may move on to another role at the club, but it remains to be seen.

Bøe Risa and Thorisdottir in the EC squad
As expected are both Wild Bøe Risa and Maria Thorisdottir in the Norwegian EC squad. The confirmed the Football Association Today.
Everything else would be a gigantic surprise.
Ex-red Aurora Mikalsen, who now plays for Brann, is also part of the Norwegian squad. In Cecilie Fiskerstrand’s absence due to injury, Mikalsen is fighting for the goalkeeper position with Stabæk’s Sunniva Skoglund and Vålerenga goalkeeper (and United supporter) Guro Pettersen.
Norway is in Group A with host nations England, Austria and Northern Ireland, and the matches in that group are played in Southampton and Brighton (except for the opening match England-Austria, which is played at Old Trafford).
Norway meets Northern Ireland on 7 July, England on 11 July and Austria on 15 July.
